Caption: Camogli is a typical fishing village in Liguria (Italy). Its name is quite ancient, though its origin is still disputed. Camogli was indeed an important seaport in the late Middle Ages known as the “city of a thousand white sails”. The tall coloured buildings made it easier for sailors to recognize their homes.
