Caption: I logged 400 miles of driving during my 2 days in the desert. I navigated via paper map and visited slot canyons, dried up lake beds, badlands, & the Salton Sea.
Though the forests and mountains of the Pacific Northwest may be my home, there is something magnetic about the desert. The barren landscape, the strange plant life, the ability to see for miles. It constantly draws me in.
