Caption: I never run out of places to visit in the Austin, Texas area. This weekend my sister Jessica and I took a trip to eat at our favorite place called, County line. It was an old lake lodge turned into a restaurant. They have the best BBQ, seated next to the best view over a small local lake. The restaurant is literally on the bank of the water. It's delicious and gorgeous.

Caption: They serve the best homemade bread. It is mouthwateringly DELICIOUS. Its no joke, that is my favorite part of the whole places!

Caption: When we were finished eating we stepped outside to look at the view. The sun was setting and it was just beautiful. They have fish feeders that you put a quarter in and you can throw the pellets out off the deck. Just be warned, a swarm of turtles and giant coy fish will fight for it.

Caption: With reluctance we walked to the car. I always dread leaving because it's just so peaceful. Everyone is always having such a good time and it's nice to interact with strangers and enjoy the simple pleasures in life. Especially with that view.
On the way out we noticed people swimming in a local creek. I freaked out and told Jessica we had to turn around and see if it was a public area. We are adventurous that way. Anything is game as long as there is gas in the tank. We got out and took a few pictures. The hill country always amazes me. We couldn't stay but we decided to come back another day.

Caption: When we came back a week later, we had more time to walk the trails and explore. Bull Creek certainly didn't disappoint. It is about a mile long, so it was a short distance. It was strenuous though, we had to jump up some rocks and climb down small cliffs. It wasn't too bad.

Caption: After exploring the next water hole, I decided to take my top off and get in the creek. In the summer, Texas heat is insane, so it was only natural for me to try and cool off. When I dipped my toe in, it was hot, but if you swim under the rocks the water coming down is nice and cold. In the end, it was just right.

360 Bridge
Caption: After my dip, we packed up and headed back to the car. We decided to hike up this cliff that was right around the corner from Bull creek. It was a trail right off of the highway.
I believe it is called the 360 bridge overlook, because it's a cliff near a steel bridge, that crosses the Colorado river. Literally you just pull over and park. We put our backpacks on and started climbing. It's not to long to get to the top. Maybe 5-10 minutes. It is worth it, to see the view.

Texas
Caption: After that we were exhausted. It was a 2 hour drive home and we were "east bound with the hammer down". In Texas, that means hauling ass. It was a great day with my twin sister. We love to explore together. My memories with family are everything to me. So take lots of pictures and explore the world. We only have one life, I plan to make the most of it.
Thanks for reading.
