Caption: The Botanic Garden in Rio de Janeiro is definitely one of my favorite places to visit in the city. It's so calm and it offers so many things to see, that you can spend hours walking around.

Caption: The Botanical Garden is located in the neighborhood of "Jardim Botânico", in the South Zone of Rio, really close to the Lagoon.
It has over 6500 species in a huge area and it was founded by the King John VI of Portugal.
