Caption: Bologna. I couldn't really say how many times I visited this city. I've always loved it for its vitality, and for its ability to be both classic and modern at the same time. Endless arcaded loggias (a common pattern in most of Emilia Romagna's cities and towns) run through the city, offering shelter from rain and cold during winter. Its university is the world's second most ancient one, and culture represents a distinctive characteristic. While bikes are the most used mode of transportation, Bologna can be easily crossed by foot as well.
