Caption: Since childhood, Bob Sadino lived well and had a better association because his father was an amtenaar or a civil servant in the Dutch East Indies era.
Because he comes from an adequate family, he did not difficult to obtain proper education.

Caption: Bob Sadino started his education at SR (Sakola Rakyat) in Yogyakarta which is at elementary school level, then entered junior high school in Jakarta, until he entered high school and graduated in 1953.

Caption: After he graduated from high school, Bob Sadino was then accepted to work at PT Unilever. But he only worked for a few months. He chose to follow his friend to enroll in the Faculty of Law, University Indonesia.

At Unilever, Bob Sadino worked for several years there. After that, he wanted some new challenges by working in a shipping company called Jakarta Lyod.

Caption: In the shipping company, he traveled abroad. The Netherlands and Germany was the countries that he always visited most. No wonder he is very fluent in English, German and Dutch. Worked abroad and met various kinds of people made his relationships wider. The salary he received there was more than enough to support his life while in Europe.

He always feels pressured when ordered by superiors. On the other hand, he is a person who really values what freedom means.
Bon Sadino and his family returned to Indonesia in 1967 and decided to start from scratch again.
From abroad he brought two of his Mercedes cars to Indonesia. He sold one of his cars and then bought a plot of land in the Kemang, Jakarta, which was that time still quiet, and he built a house in there.

Caption: The first job he do was to become an illegal taxi driver armed with the Mercedes car he had. Unfortunately the car accident caused his car badly damaged. That incident made him switch his jobs to become a mason with a wage of 100 rupiah. That made him really depressed.

He decided to start his business by market the broiler chickens eggs with his friend's help by sent him 50 broiler chickens from Netherlands.

Caption: Bob Sadino is not a graduate in animal husbandry. He then learned how to breed broilers armed with instructions from a Dutch-language farm and plantation magazine. He managed to breed his chickens and sell their eggs to neighbors in the neighborhood. Bob Sadino was the first person who introduce broiler chicken eggs in Indonesia.

His considerable business made Bob Sadino known as a conglomerate or successful businessman. Nevertheless Bob Sadino is known as a friendly and humble person.
