Caption: We decided that we needed a change of scenery before autumn was taking its rightful place here in London.
So we booked a cheap hotel somewhere none of us has ever been before - Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales.
The hotel was in the middle of nowhere and very old but that only added charm to our 2 day getaway.

Caption: Both days we had there we spent exploring.
Our first day we dedicated to a long walk (almost 20km) around two lakes -
Llyn y Fan Fach
and
Llyn y Fan Fawr.
We drove for just over an hour through the national park, parked our car at the bottom of the valley where the walk was officially beginning.

Caption: There are a many legends surrounding both lakes and mountains around.
The atmosphere is truly magical and even surreal - black waters, clouds touching the peaks and constant winds.
