Caption: The Gaishölle The water of the Brandbach falls down here through a narrow gorge, which is called "Gaishölle". Over the centuries, the huge rocks and boulders lying on the valley floor were washed free by the great gradient of the water. This created a wildly romantic forest gorge. Many waterfalls. In the past, you could not walk normally through the valley. If you wanted to walk through the gorge, you had to "bite", that is, to climb like a goat. The "hell" in turn is a traditional name for a narrow, wild area, with many rocks and stones. In 1880, a hiking trail was first created through the wild and romantic Gaishölle.
