Caption: After waking I couldn’t help but to sit down and just be there. Not taking photos and not writing, just being. Listening and feeling the breeze as it made its way through the marsh and eventually in my tent. Hearing the sounds that accompanied me and feeling what was happening. Not just physically feeling what was happening, but feeling what was going on deeper. Sensations I can’t describe with words, emotions one has to feel. I had never felt an energy like this.

Caption: I have been to Big Sur a few times, and by far my favorite place to be is here on the beach below the Bixby Bridge. Everything about it is beautiful. The bridge alone is amazing. The small effort it requires to be on the beach is worth what awaits. A small creek that makes its way through smooth rocks and eventually connects with the ocean. Sea otters on the ocean breaks curious by the site of humans. The smell and feel of the oceans mist. If you want to watch a beautiful sunset, consider watching it on the beach below the Bixby Bridge.
