1 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
100 ml agave nectar
50 ml coconut oil
60 ml apple sauce
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
60 ml hot water
10 ml lemon juice
1 1/2 cup berries
{fresh or frozen}

Caption: Preheat oven to 160 degrees Celsius
Grease a 20 - 22cm round cake pan

Caption: Sift dry ingredients together in a medium sized bowl

Caption: Add agave, coconut oil, vanilla and apple sauce

Caption: Combine hot water and lemon juice. Add to batter.

Caption: Add half the berries to the batter and stir through carefully

Caption: Bake for 35 minutes. Allow to stand for 10 minutes. Then carefully remove from pan. Serve warm with ice cream or as is with dusting of powdered sugar.
