Caption: The Salar de Atacama salt flats are located 40 minutes away by car. A flat surrounded by mountains and volcanoes, with no natural drainage, it has been accumulating water and minerals for millions of years. With more than 1,500 meters deep, it contains the worlds largest reserves of lithium.

Worth waking up early to see it!
