My character is incredibly interested in keeping his own neck alive so he will do whatever it takes to not get killed for it which seems counterintuitive for a soldier,” Brian Franks, junior, said.

He’s served a lot of misogynistic men so he basically picked that up and he’s very misogynistic in this show until the end where Tiresias happens to change his mind about everything,”Sam Estiban, senior, said.

Vanessa is very fearful of everything and everybody and she’s really all about love and that everybody should be happy. I start out as kind of naive and I don’t really know anything because I’m new to the office but at the end I’m like ‘oh my god this is horrible. I didn’t know things would go this way’,” Nadia Haswell, freshman, said.

Caption: My character, Nikolai Strauss, is the Radio and Telecommunications expert. I intercept communications and scan the surrounding area for any sort of transmissions. I sort of pictured Nikolai as this sort of grizzled, middle-aged, disillusioned with war and that he’s just given up all hope in terms for a better future. A lot of Nikolai’s grumpiness comes from his relationship with his family. He had an older brother that his parents considered better than him in every way. He sees the analyst, Weston Eichmeier’s character, who reminds him too much of log his older brother so he despises the analyst for that reason,” Ryan Kramer, junior, said.

I named my character Greg Smith because I wanted him to be boring and that’s the first thing I thought of. Greg reminds the radar of his perfect brother who made him feel inadequate as a child, but it’s actually quite the opposite because outside of the office, Greg copes with the immense stress of office life by drinking so he’s a bit of an alcoholic. Now Greg also joined a cult but also it’s hard to maintain composure in the hectic office life,” Weston Eichmeier, freshman, said.
