Video of Café Restaurant Hoogendam
Caption: Homemade streetfood, we love it! At the cozy restaurant Hoogendam they serve freshly made dishes such as dim sum, satay, baos and fresh pita gyros. It’s located at the Westerdokseiland, a vibrant neighborhoud in Amsterdam.
Video of Room Mate Aitana
Caption: Room Mate Aitana is positioned on a small artificial island situated off the Westerdok on the edge of the city center. It is overlooking the River IJ. The hotel has an impressive, modern architecture with an enormous shimmering tinted glass-fronted facade, funky graphics, colorful carpeted floors and metallic-tinted furnishings. The rooms are very modern and innovative, with large windows mostly offering city panoramas. We had a room at the 12th floor overlooking the City Marina IJdock and simply loving it!
Video of Moychay.nl Amsterdam Tea Culture Club
Caption: Looking for a truly unique experience in Amsterdam? Then you should visit Moychay. At this Tea Culture Club, you can experience authentic tea ceremonies. They have three ceremony rooms: a Japanese one, a Chinese one and a Taiwanese one. We indulged in the Chinese tea culture and were so surprised by their thoughtful traditions. It all revolves around attention, which we absolutely love.
Besides hosting tea ceremonies, you can also buy premium teas directly from the farmers: red, white, pu-erh, green and black teas. They have more than 250 teas from 13 countries available. Along with the teas, they also have a large teaware collection: handmade cups, teapots, gaiwans and anything you need for your own tea ceremony (including adorable tea pets!).

Video of Bloemenmarkt
Caption: Did you know Amsterdam has the the only floating flower market in the world? The floating flower market at the Singel Canal exists since 1862 and is one of the most colorful and fragrant highlights of Amsterdam. It’s a great place to visit all year round. You will find all sorts of seeds and flower bulbs like tulips, but you can also buy bouquets, single flowers and houseplants. It’s open 7 days a week!
