Caption: For our first anniversary, my wife and I decided to take a week vacation in the wonderful Cinque Terre area in Liguria, Italy.

Caption: Cinque Terre is made up of 5 small coastal towns built into cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean. From north to south, the towns are Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore (pictured above).

Caption: On one of the days, we took the longest trail between Monterosso al Mare and Vernazza. Though long and hot, the experience and views were definitely worth it.
