Caption: For Spring Break I stayed in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The trip was amazing filled with crystal, blue waters and white sand beaches. I tried new food and drinks that were local to the island.

Caption: I visited a private island off the Dominican Republic called Soana. I took a catamaran to the private island filled with large starfish and delicious local food. After the island, we visited a shallow, cove and went snorkeling around the coral reefs.

Caption: I met many locals of the area, who were very kind. However, I am not the best at understanding the Spanish language. Therefore, dialogue was limited between myself and the locals, but my roommate speaks Spanish and translated for me.

Caption: The beaches were beautiful with perfect weather of 85 degrees with a nice breeze. The days were constantly sunny with no clouds on site. The water was warm and clear with fish of all varieties.
