Composition

"Consciously Creative"
taught by Philippa Stanton.
What a joy this class has been!
I've spent these last two
weeks in the farm country of Missouri helping my sister.
I've connected with her
and her quiet country roads.
This little story is about my creative journey this past week.

was a simple toy I remember from my
grandmother's house.

included things that
caught my eye around
her house or
reminded me of growing up:
sewing and canning,
hunting and fishing
collecting arrowheads,
and bonfires.
I photographed the
composition on her kitchen table early in the morning
with insufficient light...
but I loved this time of day
so it was OK.

getting ready to go home.
