Caption: Sunday, and a favourite walk at Gullane Point. The light was hazy and low and the water was so calm, the sound of the waves a gentle hum in the background. Even in the two weeks since we last walked here, the palette had changed; the purple of the heathers fading to brown along the clifftop as the berries glow in their autumnal pink. The landscape subtly welcoming in the new season all around us.
