Caption: Spitfire, the black female, or known as 926F, was the descended from the first group of wolves reintroduced into Yellowstone from Canada 23 years ago. Her mother was the most famous 06 She Wolf. 06 was a founding member of the Lamar Canyon Pack until she was killed by a Trophy Hunter in Wyoming ( 2012 ). After her mother’s death Spitfire became alpha female of the pack until she stepped outside of the park and meet with the same fate as her mother 06.
