Caption: What was your 1st camera and what's your gear now? I taught myself photography on the Nikon d60. It's was a great camera to start out on and I learnt a lot!
I now have the Nikon D7000 with a sigma 10-20mm lens, 50mm prime plus a range of zoom lens.
I also adore film photography! Any film cameras I buy in opshops or given to me I never miss the opportunity!
I'm looking at getting the Nikon D800 a few Lee filters and a go pro 4 at a further date.

Caption: What inspires you to travel? I've been on the road for over a year, traveling Tasmania and up the east coast Australia in a Toyota troopcarrier landcruiser!
I get to experience life like no other. Who wouldn't want the beach between their toes as soon as you wake up followed by a breakfast full of organic local produce, swimming then watching the sunset over mountains..
Life is out there to be lived everyday not just the weekends.

Caption: What does photography mean to you? Photography lets me express what a wonderful world we live in.
I hope by me traveling and sharing my photography It encourages more people to break away from the 9-5 job to see that their is more life to live then just the weekends. You don't need a lot of money or materialistic items to be happy.

Ask yourself, how can I make the most out of the current situation?
Take your camera everywhere. Even a day at the park or the beach can turn something everyday into something beautiful.
Express yourself and find meaning into something that you capture.

Caption: What is your favorite type of photograpy? Long exposure, especially around dusk. When I was living in Melbourne I used to love taking photos of the city during rush hour.
When I'm out hiking I like to capture the golden hour with vast landscapes. Sometimes I find myself completely swept away with how much beauty is around me.
