Caption: Santorini is one of the most famous Greek islands, & with good reason. It has often been named as the most beautiful place in the world to watch a sunset, with hundreds of people packing the cliff towns every evening to watch the sun sink into the sea. We arrived just in time to catch the sunset on our first evening.

Caption: Sunrise Over Oia Santorini may be famous for its sunset, but the most rewarding decision of the trip was to wake up for the sunrise. The best part? Few tourists are willing to do the same.
Caption: After getting 3 hours of sleep, Courtny and I woke up and got a taxi to Oia. Normally the town is packed with people, but not at 5 in the morning. We knew the sunrise would be beautiful, but strolling the streets of Oia with no one around was a pleasant bonus.
