India Fest 2026 at the Virginia Beach Convention Center ✨🇮🇳 This year’s theme was “A Celebration of Eternal Love,” and the whole day lived up to it. Hosted by AIHR (Asian Indians of Hampton Roads), India Fest has been bringing Indian culture to Hampton Roads for more than 25 years. Walking in, you could feel why it’s become such a tradition. The convention center was transformed with deep reds, gold details and chandeliers. The stage was the heart of it all: bright yellow mandala backdrops and performer after performer sharing music and dance from across India. One highlight was a group of young dancers performing classical Bharatanatyam in pink and gold costumes with temple jewelry and flowers in their hair. Every hand gesture and footstep was so precise and full of expression. You could see the hours of practice and the pride in every move. 💛 Between performances there was food, shopping, color everywhere and a room full of families and friends celebrating together. It’s free, open to everyone and one of the most joyful days on the Virginia Beach calendar.
