We go to this restaurant pretty much every time we’re in downtown Spokane! The Steam Plant is a really cool repurposed industrial boiler from 1916. The food is good and so are the drinks blast time we went, they had a blueberry sour ale that tasted exactly like a blueberry muffin. The flatbreads are especially good! After you eat, check out the old stacks—you can actually go inside! The Steam Plant also has a hotel. Tip 1: I recommend making a reservation here. Even though, it rarely looks crowded inside, they have a seating system that just works better if you make a reservation. Tip 2: Be prepared to look for street parking as there isn’t a lot of space in their parking lot.
