The beach may be what gets people to Virginia Beach, but after spending a few days here, I realized it's everything around it that makes the destination special. I checked into the Moxy Virginia Beach Oceanfront, explored the boardwalk by bike, learned how to make cocktails at Waterman's Spirits, watched dolphins swim alongside our boat with Rudee Tours, discovered local art in The Vibe Creative District and enjoyed some incredible food along the way, including the she crab soup at Waterman’s. What surprised me most was how easy it was to fill an entire trip. Every time I turned around, there was something else worth checking out. Virginia Beach isn't just a beach destination. It's a destination filled with experiences.
