The Castlefield Viaduct is such a hidden gem in Manchester! It’s basically a “park in the sky” built on an old railway bridge. The elevated garden is gorgeous, full of greenery and flowers, and you can access it easily by either a staircase or a lift. After visiting, you can walk right over to the nearby ruins of the Roman Fort, which give a cool glimpse into the city’s Roman history. Then just a couple of blocks away you’ll reach the scenic canals around Castlefield. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed stroll along the water.
