POV: You make eye contact with a lemur and suddenly you’re besties 😭🐒 This was the coolest animal encounter ever that we got to experience at the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo during our vacation to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, AL🐒 Here is what you need to know: 🎟️ Animal Enounter Tickets are sold separately from Zoo admission. You will pay zoo admission and then $25 for the Lemur Adventure. 👧 Kids must be 5 years of age or older and all children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a paid adult. ⏱️ The experience is roughly 15 minutes long. There are multiple time slots throughout the day. 🐒 The Lemurs here have a sad backstory as they were rescued from the illegal pet trade. Some are missing digits and bits of their tail. As they are older males, they had to be relocated off lemur island at the zoo as the females wouldn’t let them eat. So now these three amigos are in lemur retirement! 👋 Lemurs have the final say here.
