A fairytale winter wonderland of pastel palaces and gorgeous domed buildings, this Russian amusement park completely transforms with a frozen river crossing boats to sit majestically on the ice. One of the main attractions is the huge ice slide that twists in turns over 200-300 meters. The park can be done in 2-4 hours. But it is quite big so plan for lots of walking. If you’re short on time or went to rest your legs you can rent a panda cart to drive around. There are additional activities you can pay extra for. The best one is the car tubing experience where a jeep pulls groups of people in tubes in circles. Many other places in Harbin might only make 5 or so turns, but this one was actually a decent course. This place is 30-60 minutes outside of town, but a didi is very affordable. Tip: Skip the ticket with the Russian performance. There are so much higher quality shows in China.
