Here are 4 I recommend: 1) 📍 @kamayan_atl - Michelin-recommended Filipino spot with both comforting dishes & atmosphere. From lumpia, to sisig, and amazing desserts like Halo Halo and Ube Flan (iconic!), it’s a can’t miss experience, and they are expanding next door in 2026! 2) 📍 @northernchinaeatery - This unassuming Chinese spot behind an optical store is delivering BIG on flavor and has some of the best dumplings in all of the Atlanta area & with many varieties. Xiao Long Bao & Sautéed String beans are two of my favorite non-dumpling items here. Huge portions! 3) 📍 @javasagacoffee - For those who love some heat, this Taiwanese Fried Chicken spot does not mess around with 5 different spice levels. Snag nuggets, sandwiches, coffee, boba & more at this underrated spot. Small but mighty! 4 ) 📍 Nam Phuong - Another Michelin-recommended spot, and for a good reason. Classic Vietnamese cuisine from Pho to Banh Xeo, perfect for the colder months ahead. Great for groups! There are so many other wonderful restaurants in the area. I guess you’ll just have to start here, then explore the rest of DeKalb yourself! 😉
