💖 “The Pink House” at 17 Chalmers St. in the historic French Quarter is a must-see in Charleston. It’s one of those places that is just as good in person as it is on social media. The cool thing about this house, one of the city’s oldest—built between 1600-1712—is that it isn’t paint that makes it pink. It gets its cheery hue from Bermuda Stone, a coral stone from West India. The house has been used as a tavern and brothel, a law office, a private residence, and most recently an art gallery, which has now closed. The terracotta roof and the cobblestone road out front add to the charm. Don’t miss it!
