The American Monument to the Battle of the Bulge starts with a monument to the Screaming Eagles of the 101st Airborne that then leads down to main memorial. The monument is a five point star with the American units involved in the Battle on the pillars. The seats outside the monument were made and in place for the women to come mourne the soldiers lost. Over 70,000 killed or wounded.
