For some clear and really cold water (perfect for the Summer heat) this river is perfect! Finding parking nearby can be a little hard One thing I learned was just how vital this water is! It’s home to engendered species and the conservation work that is done here has made a huge impact. It’s a reminder to take care of the environment and find ways to get involved, because it wouldn’t look like this without the volunteers help. Reef safe sunscreen also works for rivers too and will help protect the wildlife in it Reminder that although this park is on Texas State Campus it is still open to the general public as long as visitors are respectful :)
