After pastries, we took a slow stroll through Assistens Cemetery. One of Copenhagen’s most serene green spaces. Locals come here to walk, reflect and even picnic. This is also where Hans Christian Andersen is buried. The beloved author of The Little Mermaid, The Ugly Duckling and so many fairytales we grew up with.
