SAN JUAN LA LAGUNA - LAKE ATITLAN, GUATEMALA 🇬🇹 This was personally my favorite of all the villages on Lake Atitlan, simply because of all the ART and COLOR! Immediately when you walk off the boat, you are greeted with an explosion of color, and it continues as you walk through the town.🌈🎨 But beyond the aesthetics, I loved that there is so much culture in San Juan, and I learned about everything from textile weaving + natural dyeing techniques, chocolate making (+ its significance to Mayan culture), and traditional painting styles.
