One of my all-time favorite places in Southern California! Can you believe that this island paradise exists only about an hour away from LA and Orange County? It’s super easy to plan a day trip or weekend getaway to Catalina Island (highly recommend the latter) and getting here is super easy via ferry! You’ll only be 22 miles away from the mainland, but it manages to be a whole world away, with Mediterranean vibes, crystal clear aquamarine waters, a charming downtown area, and some of the most insane views!
