[save + share] Things to Do in Rhode Island: Rhode Island Red Food Tours I think one of the best ways to get to know a new place is by doing a food tour. As a global common denominator, food brings people together, and it’s a fantastic medium for learning the culture and history of a destination (and it’s likely that you’ll make friends on the tour too!). During my visit to Rhode Island, I did a food tour of Providence with @riredfoodtours. This food tour was my favorite activity during my visit and I can’t recommend them enough! The food was delicious and Michelle was an incredible guide (and she’s also hilarious). Not only did we eat good food and visit amazing restaurants, but we also learned a lot about Rhode Island’s history and culture. During this tour, we had: 🦀 Clam chowder and clam cakes at @dunebrothersseafoodshack 🍕 Plant-based pizza and wine at @plantcitypvd 🧋 Bubble tea and wheel cakes at @charumateabar 🍜 Noodles and sake at @pvdnoodlebar 🥨 Pretzels and beer at @maltedbarleyprovidence 🍰 Cake and spiked coffee at @elliesprov
