Home of Henry VIII (and his six wives) in the 1500s, and later a baroque palace (added on for William III and Mary II in the late 1600s). We spent over two hours exploring in and out of the palace, which sits on the Thames between East Molesey and Richmond about 12 miles from London. We loved the somewhat challenging 300-year-old maze! The gardens are usually my favorite part. This palace is also home to the Great Vine, the oldest grapevine in the world (planted in 1768). The palace hosts music festivals in the summer, so check dates before you come!
