Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes are epic in any conditions and should be on any visitor’s list when exploring Death Valley National Park! 🌄 Sunrise or sunset are definitely the best time to experience them because .. 1) the sands can get super hot during the day and hurt to walk on and 2) the lighting is AMAZING during golden and blue hours! 🌌 They also make for a fantastic spot to stargaze and take Astro photos! ⛺️ Right down the road from them is our favorite spot to stay / camp in the park: Stovepipe Wells! We love their campground (and its proximity to Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes).
