Don’t miss a hike down into Pololū Valley during your trip to Island of Hawai’i. Tips for visiting: 1) There are no bathroom facilities here so use it before you arrive. 2) the hike down takes about 25 minutes along a pretty rocky path so wear sturdy closed-toed shoes 3) at the beginning of the trail you’ll meet the Pololū Valley stewards who are there to educate visitors on responsible tourism and safety protocols. Respect the island and its people by following their rules and instructions and always stay on marked trails.
