A egg yolk, a few drops of condensed milk, a hint of chocolate, and a (very) strong coffee make up one of the specialties of the local cuisine, stemming from a Franco-Vietnamese fusion. If in India there's Butter-Tea, in Vietnam, it's Egg Coffee. Difficult to categorize : not quite a dessert, not exactly a coffee either, this specialty of the country is nonetheless delicious. Situated on the balcony of L’Étage - a charming little tea room/café that one can only find if they know where to look - facing the lake, you'll have all the time to savor the creaminess of your Egg Coffee with a small spoon, enjoying the warm breeze, the scents of the city, and the symphony of car horns.
