One of the best views of Versilia can be admired from the Viareggio pier. Walking from the Mare Walk you walk to the left of the canal, to the right the beach and then the sea. Going to the bottom, up to the Red Lighthouse, you can see the Muraglione, which delimits the Port of Viareggio, and behind Viareggio and the Apuan Alps.
