The best hike in San Francisco ๐ Details โฌ ๐Lands End Trail ๐ฅพ 2 miles round trip hike ๐ถTrail condition- short moderate, the hike to the Mile Rock beach requires climbing down 243 stairs. ๐ Elevation gain - 550 ft ๐๏ธ Free to visit ๐ง Kid friendly ๐ Dogs Friendly (must be kept on leash) ๐ Parking available Lands End Trail is a hidden gem in San Francisco. There are tons of coastal trails with beautiful views ๐ . It is also one of the best spots to see the sunset. You can start the hike from the Visitor Center near Sutro Baths(Ocean Beach). Or you can just do this short hike of 1 mile to Lands End Labyrinth and Mile Rock Beach. Parking is near Legion of Honor Museum and the trail starts from there. There was a Labyrinth before, its been cleared up. The beach was secluded with rocks and floating logs, even the beach is cleared and it's a nice little small cove.
