You must go to Page’s when visiting Charleston. It’s just over the Ravenel Bridge in Mount Pleasant (Shem Creek) and so worth the trip. Their chicken and savory waffles are my favorite. But the primal salad is also really good if you need your veggies…and fried green tomatoes count as veggies, too, so get those. The best time to come, though, is for brunch. (They have a really good Bloody Mary.) Just be prepared to wait if you come during peak hours. They don’t take reservations and they are popular.
