An unmanned thrift shop is not something I expected to find but here we are! The honor system in Japan never ceases to amaze me. The shop is open 24 hours and has security cameras inside. The prices vary according the hanger color, and once you’ve selected your items there is a notebook to write down the prices of what you’re getting. Once you write your entry in the notebook, there is a security box to put your cash in. There’s a small machine next to the deposit box to break down larger bills. It’s cash only 🤝
