TONIGHT November 23rd 2023!✨ Tori No Ichi is a Japanese Festival that happens on two or three different days each November (rooster days). Business owners will go to select shrines to buy the new year’s Kumade, a decorated wooden rake to bring good luck to their business. The best Shrine to enjoy Tori No Ichi in Tokyo is definitely Hanazono Shrine, which becomes incredibly lively and colorful under the lights of hundreds of lanterns put up for the occasion! There’s also food stalls and traditional music. As a rare treat, this festival goes on until late at night which makes it extremely special. If you’re visiting Tokyo in November, try to make it to the Night Market of Tori No Ichi in Hanazono Shrine!
