The Paredão de argila - Clay wall - embezzles even more the views of Gamboa Beach. The unusual formation is an almost vertical 60 meters - about 197 feet - high wall that defies geotechnical engineers. Here you can bathe in the mud, supposedly to hydrate the skin. It's not unusual to see muddy people walking around the streets of Morro de São Paulo, then you know why. From Morro de São Paulo you can hike to Gamboa and back when the tide is low. In high tides the best is to take the taxi boat for a reasonably low fare.
