It’s estimated that there are only 5,000 - 10,000 tarisers left in the world, and the only place that protects these treehuggers are at the Philippine Tarsier Sanctuary in Bohol. Known as carnivors with enourmous eyes, tarsiers are the oldest and smallest surviving primate group. You’ll need to rent a car or hire a tuktuk driver to take you to the santuary and you’ll be amazed at how calm and delicate these creatures are.
