The Motlawa River runs through the center of Gdańsk and eventually flows into the Baltic Sea. Along the River you’ll find a beautiful promenade with cute little souvenir shops and cozy restaurants. The riverside is actually one of the most visited places in Gdańsk. In our opinion not surprising at all, because it’s a great place to relax at one of the (rooftop) terraces. A highlight you must see is the bridge turning in the water when the big pirate ships leave the city for a boat tour!
