My closest friends know that if there is a bookstore or library in town, I’ll always visit it. And that’s why I never miss Pages when I am in the South Bay. It was founded in 2010 by fellow bibliophiles as a place for book lovers of all ages; where reading, meeting and discussing books is a way of life. Pages sells new fiction, non-fiction, children’s, cooking, surf, coffee table books and bestsellers. I adore that they staff truly live by their mantra of an ability to “match any reader with the perfect book” and I’ve seen that in action most times I’ve visited. If I ever didn’t, it’s because my fellow customers came in already knowing what they wanted! Pages hosts author events and book signings, weekly story times, and FOUR [!] monthly book clubs. They also provide gift wrapping and gift cards. I particularly love that they have cozy, leather chairs that you can sink into if you want to stay and read a while: not just browse, which I always want to do! #hiddengems
