The tombs in The Valley of the Kings, carved deep into the rocks, form an underground system. The deeper the grave, the more important the pharaoh. The walls of the tombs, the narrow corridors and ceilings are decorated with colorful and interesting hieroglyphics. Many graves are well preserved and it is actually very special that we’re allowed to enter!
