The Kafka Museum showed me the innermost turmoil that a person can go through. Especially when he wrote about his relationships whether his romantic ones or familial ones. I definitely would not want to be placed in his shoes. Although on the intellectual side of things I think that he brings a lot of validity in the individuals identity as well as the meaning of life and career and that it is important for everyone to be open to others and to know and acknowledge the fact that absorbing the feeling of ‘self’ is important. “Start with what is RIGHT; rather than what is ACCEPTABLE. “ Franz Kafka I also think that identity is an important theme to look at with Kafka especially because he wanted his identity and schema to be German this hiding his Jewish roots and assimilating into Czech society.
