NATURAL AND CULTURAL LAGUNA- Santa Marta Lighthouse, Botos Pescadores and Anita Garibaldi

For those who love nature, we will explore the Sanctuary of Botos Pescadores, where you can observe the harmony between Botos and Pescadores. This interaction is centuries old, but much earlier there were in Laguna major historical events that marked the history of Brazil. It was in Laguna that was born the Heroine of two worlds, Anita Garibaldi. We will also enjoy Local Typical dishes, served on the banks of the Canal da Barra. In this complete Laguna Tour, we will still see the Walker Dunes and also the largest lighthouse in the Americas, the Santa Marta Lighthouse. In this corner of the Atlantic, we will check out the ancient history of the Sambaquian Peoples and their piles of shells and remains, which are still visible today.

Guided Whale Watching and History Tour from Florianopolis

Embark on an unforgettable journey to the Right Whale Coast with a comfortable transfer from Florianópolis and an expert bilingual guide. In Imbituba, you will discover the calm bays that serve as natural nurseries (berçários) where right whale mothers give birth and nurse their calves. First, visit the Right Whale Conservation Center alongside a local monitor and step back in time at the historic Museu da Baleia, South America's last 18th-century whaling station. Next, visit the Mirante da Praia do Porto for a historical talk connecting the port to the whaling era. Then, enjoy a short hike to the observation deck at Ribanceira Beach. This is our main stop: we will gather on shore to observe the whales in their most important nursery, using our guide’s professional binoculars. Finally, savor a delicious, typical lunch at a charming restaurant by the sea and unwind on the beach before heading back to Florianópolis. Join us to experience this magical marine sanctuary!
